Data Projectors - Contrast Ratio
This is the difference between the blackest
black and the whitest white a projector can produce. The LCD
panel in a projector cannot completely block out all of the
light when it is meant to be "black". A high contrast
ratio is necessary to give clear images - especially when
colour graphics or photographs are being projected. Note that
DLP projectors produce better contrast ratios than LCD based
ones.
