Data Projectors - Resolution
This is a measure of how accurately an image
will be projected. It is measured in pixels - the dots which
make up the image. More pixels means more precise image quality
(although note that the projector ought to match its source
- a high resolution projector can actually look worse than
a lower resolution one if it has to scale the projected image).
Projectors are designed to operate with computers, so their
resolutions match computer screen resolutions, i.e. SVGA or
800 x 600 pixels, XGA or 1024 x 768 pixels, etc. The most
common standard now is XGA, and it is perfectly adequate for
most applications.
