Decisions

As can be seen from the earlier sections, there is more to video than meets the eye! As a means of giving more consideration to the use of video in church, it may be appropriate to have a small working group who will consider the factors set out above, and report to the church committee, or the group who must ultimately take the decision.

This group might include:-
• People with technical expertise
• People with knowledge of the building structure
• Those with knowledge of the "shut ins", missionaries, students, and others who would benefit from videos
• Representatives of those involved in leading/preparing worship
• Representatives of the sound and projection teams

The group would report on:-
• Benefits and problems
• Feasability
• Cost
• Implementation plan and timescale
• Possibilities for a phased installation
Armed with this knowledge, the church can then make a decision as to whether or not to go ahead with introducing video recording
